Sundance Awards Party
Sundance is an amazing time in Park City. It brings an electricity to our community for 10 days every January. The closing party, this year at the Basin Rec Center at Newpark. The lights painted a mystical pattern across the crowd making for some fantastic photographs. This wide angle shot of the crowd captures the energy as the Sundance Film Festival comes to an end.
The ever changing lighting coming from multiple directions provided fascinating opportunities to capture a wide array of images.
Jupiter Peak Sunrise
There are so many different vantage points in the mountains around Park City. Having a bit of time between appointments, I took a cruse up Royal Street at Deer Valley thinking mainly of shooting back down on Park CIty. It was sunrise, though, the the rim light on the peaks was stunning. As I peered across Daly Canyon, there was a mystical cloud hangin around Jupiter Peak, making for a wonderful early morning mountainscape.
